I'm not going for a few reasons.

Logical Reasons:
1. It's in the middle of my school year. Classes come first.
2. Connecticut is very far away from Seattle, WA.
3. Making travel arrangements now would be troublesome and would not give optimal results.

Personal Reasons:
1. People in large fuzzy/furry suits make me feel uncomfortable.
2. The thought that there are people inside fuzzy/furry suits make me more uncomfortable.
3. The inability to see the eyes/face of a person whilst they're inside a fuzzy/furry suit makes me even more uncomfortable.
4. I tolerate more things than I accept.

Miscellaneous Reasons:
1. I'm in it for the people and perhaps a pair of cat ears now and then can be cute.
2. I consider it to be a fantasy, I keep reality and fantasy separate.
3. You are not considered in any of my reasons.

That should just about cover it in a very broad and uninteresting scale. I think my mind started drifting after I finished the logical reasons.
